GERAKAN LANJUT USIA SADAR COVID-19 DI POSYANDU LANSIA DESA PEMPALARAENG KECAMATAN KENDAHE KABUPATEN KEPULAUAN SANGIHE

THE ELDERLY MOVEMENT AWARE OF COVID-19 AT POSYANDU PEMPALARAENG VILLAGE KENDAHE SANGIHE ISLANDS DISTRICT

Abstract

Dalam UU Kesehatan. No 23 tahun 1992, pasal 19ayat 1 tentang Kesehatan manusia usia lanjut perlu mendapatkan perhatian khusus dengan tetap dipelihara dan ditingkatkan agar selama mungkin dapat hidup secara produktif sesuai dengan kemampuannya sehingga dapat ikut serta berperanaktif dalam pembangunan. Dengan adanyan pandemic Covid-19 yang merupakan ancaman bagi keselamatan lansia sebab efeknya akan lebih berbahaya atau bahkan fatal bila terjadi pada orang lansia, ibu hamil, orang yang memiliki penyakit tertentu, perokok atau orang yang daya tahan tubuhnya lemah. Upaya untuk mencegah penyebaran virus Corona adalah untuk mematuhi protokol kesehatan, namun hal ini belum memasyarakat sampai di wilayah pedesaan termasuk lansia. Tujuan kegiatan pelaksanaan pengabdian adalah untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan tentang Covid-19, termasuk cara penularannya serta manfaat dari pemberian vaksinasi. Metode yang digunakan yaitu penyuluhan/sosialisasi, dilanjutkan dengan pemeriksaan kesehatan berupa pemeriksaan fisik, pemeriksaan tekanan darah, Saturasi Oksigen, pemeriksaan kimia darah yang terdiri dari Cholesterol, Asam Urat dan Gula darah. Hasil yang dicapai pada pengabdian ini yaitu lansia dapat mengerti dan memahami tentang materi yang disampaikan. Dari jumlah lansia yang hadir sebanyak 26 orang semuanya dilakukan pemeriksaan dan hasil pemeriksaan yang tidak normal diedukasi untuk melakukan pemeriksaan lebih lanjut disarana kesehatan.

In the Health Act. 23 of 1992, article 19 paragraph 1 concerning the health of elderly people, it is necessary to pay special attention to the health of the elderly by maintaining and improving them so that as long as possible they can live productively according to their abilities so that they can take an active role in development. The Covid-19 pandemic is a threat to elderly safety because the effects will be more dangerous or even fatal if it occurs in the elderly, pregnant women, people who have certain diseases, smokers, or people whose immune systems are weak. Efforts to prevent the spread of the Coronavirus adhere to health protocols, but this has not yet been popular in rural areas, including among the elderly. The purpose of the service implementation activity is to increase knowledge about Covid-19, including how it is transmitted and the benefits of giving vaccinations. The method used is counseling/socialization, followed by health checks in the form of physical examinations, blood pressure checks, oxygen saturation, and blood chemistry test consisting of cholesterol, uric acid, and blood sugar. The results achieved in this service are that the elderly can understand the material that has been presented. Of the number of elderly who attended as many as 26 people, were examined and the results of abnormal examinations were educated to carry out further examinations in health facilities.
